Palm Beach County Medical Media Group, Inc. (“PBCMMG”) is committed to making pbcmmg.com and pbcmmg.org accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Conformance Standard
Our Sites target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG provides guidelines for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, limited movement, cognitive disabilities, and combinations of these.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks to support screen-reader navigation
- Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
- Keyboard-operable navigation and focus indicators throughout the Sites
- Alternative text on images, with concise descriptions of medical illustrations and physician headshots
- Captions and transcripts for any video content
- Resizable text without loss of functionality
- Form fields with clear labels and error messages
- Pages structured with logical heading hierarchies
Known Limitations
We are an evolving publication, and not all content has been audited to WCAG 2.1 AA at the time of writing. Older articles or third-party embeds may not yet meet our target standard. We prioritize remediation based on traffic, content type (medical information first), and user feedback.

We aim to support recent versions of:
- NVDA and JAWS on Windows
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- TalkBack on Android
- Major web browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge
